Edfinancial Transitioning Loan Servicing Platforms
Edfinancial Services is transitioning to a new loan servicing platform which will allow us to provide an even better customer experience. We will remain in contact with our customers throughout this process to provide important updates to your account. In the meantime, please feel free to visit StudentAid.gov/announcements-events/edfinancial-system-transfers for more information.
COVID-19 Updates
The student loan payment pause is extended until the U.S. Department of Education is permitted to implement the debt relief program or the litigation is resolved. Payments will restart 60 days later. If the debt relief program has not been implemented and the litigation has not been resolved by June 30, 2023 – payments will resume 60 days after that. We will notify borrowers before payments restart.
Visit StudentAid.gov/coronavirus for updates.
One-Time Student Loan Cancellation
Courts have issued orders blocking student debt relief. The Biden-Harris Administration is seeking to overturn those orders. For the latest information regarding the status of student debt relief, visit StudentAid.gov.
